Preventing any oral problems or pain should be the goal of any dentist. At Carlon Dentistry, this is our first priority. We customize at-home instructions combined with individually assessed recall recommendations to prevent cavities and other oral health problems. We have two full-time Registered Dental Hygienists to provide continuity with your visits to not only personally track any existing conditions or long term concerns, but also to share your latest vacation stories or pictures of children and grandchildren. These hygienists will perform a professional cleaning (prophylaxis) where any calculus and plaque will be removed prior to polishing to remove any stains on your teeth.

Botox
BOTOX® Cosmetics is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of both moderate to severe expression lines on adults. Dr. Becky has completed the required coursework and successfully applied to the Georgia Board of Dentistry for approval to administer injectables. Her intricate knowledge of anatomy and her esthetic sense makes Dr. Becky a talented administrator of Botox and Xeomin.

We use a variety of materials to restore teeth to their original form, function, and beauty. Our dentists will consult with the patient in order to determine which material is optimal for that person’s needs.

Staying on the cutting edge of technology has always been a priority at Carlon Dentistry. We don’t just want items that sound and look impressive, we want advances that benefit the patient.

The most important component of successful implants is detailed and meticulous planning. We send our patients to a surgical specialist for placement of the implant, after which the implant will be restored with a crown or bridge here at Carlon Dentistry. Our dentists routinely consult with the surgeon before implant placement to ensure optimal outcome of the final result.

At Carlon Dentistry, we love children! Their shining smiles brighten our day! We start seeing children as early as one year old, and we encourage parents to bring their kids with them at their cleaning appointments to see that going to the dentist is fun!

Do your gums bleed when you brush your teeth? You could be at risk for gum disease. Untreated gingivitis can lead to periodontitis, which can eventually cause tooth loss and other health problems. At Carlon Dentistry, we screen every patient for possible risk factors and symptoms. If it is determined to be necessary, a Comprehensive Periodontal Evaluation will performed to asses any needed treatment.
